So I've found a bunch of places on facebook that give you a free sample to try there stuff out. After a few months I finally decided to start recording what I've ordered.. And what I've gotten, starting today.. (I'll try to remember to update this as I find stuff)

So its supposed to rain/snow late tonight into tomorrow. I'm praying for just rain at this point. xb Or at least very little snow.. But the weather today is not good for taking pictures.. My camera dislikes dark cloudy days.

I found some patterns online, that appear to fit the bobobie/resinsould bodys, so I'm in the process of making a few things for Mei (name yet to be determined) when she gets here. Hopefully they'll fit.

After I finished my previous knit project, I started on a new one. I'm currently drawing a blank on the name of it though. It's basically a fancy knit scarf for your neck.. :b Umm I'll upload photos of it sometime next week, when the weather is better...

Currently I'm looking back through my flickr and realizing that most of the doll pictures are Fairyland ones. Not that there's anything wrong with that, I'm just finding it interesting.

Yesterday I ordered my BBB Mei. Finally! I should get her next week hopefully. ^^ I'm not really sure what I'm going to name her though. To many ideas floating through my head. I figure I'll just wait until she gets here to decide.

I'm almost finished with the knitting part of the project I mentioned earlier. Three rows to go. Then I'll try my hand at blocking it... Which should be interesting.
This morning, while watching a little bit of TV while knitting, some guy was talking about seeds of change. Apparently they're giving away packets of seeds at the moment, all you have to do is pay 4.99 shipping. Go check out there sight, its pretty interesting.

(And isn't it fun that when you want spaces it doesn't give them to you and when you don't want them it gives them to you?)

Currently looking out my window, it looks nice and sunny. Only problem? Its in the 40s and slightly windy.. I can't wait for spring to start warming up. Being inside all winter is starting to drive me crazy. So I finally earned enough money to order a Bobobie/ResinSoul Mei. I'm just waiting to hear back from Junky Spot about it. If I don't hear back soon, I'll probably just order it anyway, and see what happens. On the other hand I just ordered some fur swatches from Distinctive Fabrics, so hopefully I'll be able to make a few wigs for her when she finally comes. I also made another wig for Misty (Shes going to have way to many by the time I'm done). So far this is my favorite I think.

I ended up using the rest of the green fur I had, but it turned out pretty. I also made some felt shoes from a pattern on flickr.

Monday already, why do the weekends have to go by so quickly?

Anyway, I've been working on my knitted pillow and onlly have a few more rows to go. I'll post another pic when I'm finished. It will also be my first time blocking anything so we'll see how that ends up.

I made a few more wigs for Misty.

I'm actually enjoying making them, and I like how the last three have turned out.

Now that I have a pattern for them, that works, they're really quick to make. And most of them are really soft. <3

Currently I'm also saving up for a littlefee (I think), so that I have two sizes of dolls to work with. I do have an Etsy shop, but most of the items are doll clothes with a few human sized things stuck in... So far I've sold one thing, so its a little bit frustrating, but I keep adding items, hoping that something else sells soon.

So its finally friday. Yay for weekends!

So last night was some more basketball games, that my husband and I stayed up to watch... Well, more like he watched while I knitted... The good news: Uconn won. The bad: Duke lost... So much for my bracket. Oh well, not like it really mattered much to me anyway.

So while watching the game yesterday I did more knitting, on the star counterpane block I'm working on. Currently its working up nicely. I just wish I could have found a better yarn in my stash. Antique Gold yarn, from Caldors, isn't cutting it. Of course I was making it to help dress up the guest bedroom anyway, so maybe it doesn't matter?

I've also been working on some basic knitted scarves for the American Girl Doll. Hopefully I get them done by the time my cousin wants to have her ASP craft fair.

So I finally made two fur wigs for my puki, Silvermist.

The brown one is the softest and I love the feeling of it. Unfortunatly its also the first one I made and I messed up on it.. It started out to big and ended up to small. I ended up adding hairclips to help hide some of the imperfections of the front of the wig.

The green one turned out a lot better. It slides around on her head from being to short, but it stays on when shes held upside down. The fur itself is a little thin, and you can see the fabric underlayer, but it helps give her that fairy look that I'm going for.

I have a few more fur colors that hopefully I'll be able to make wigs with at some point soon.

Yay! I've been married for over 6 months!

Well, I'm in a lets try this again mood. So we'll see how long I can keep up with this again. I had a bunch of ideas in my head this morning, but I can't remember half of them. Go figure.

Anyway, I'm currently in the process of teaching myself how to knit. Mostly so I can knit doll clothes, but also for myself. Currently I'm in the process of working on a Star Counterpane Block
(found here: http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEw11/FEATw11SIT.php), but I'm making it into a pillow. So well see how that turns out.

I also found a great way to make stuffed chicken, instead of always buying it from the store. Its still in the beginner process of being perfected, but so far it takes great. As I perfect it I'll post what I come up with.

Homemade Stuffed Chicken w/ mushrooms and asparagus
(Makes about 3 servings of chicken)

Stuffed Chicken:

Preheat over to 400 degrees

3 pieces of (boneless/skinless) chicken breasts
Breadcrumbs (or panko)
Parmesan
1 Egg
Cheese of choice to stuff the chicken (I used a block sharp cheese, because thats what I had)

You'll also need a greased 9x13" pan (I use Pam spray)

Before hand: Scramble your egg in one bowl and fill another bowl with your breadcrumbs and parmesan.

Step 1: Cut your chicken in half and cut a slit in the side, try not to go all the way through the chicken.

Step 2: Pound the chicken so its about half an inch, just be careful to not overpound or you'll end up with chicken thats hard to stuff.

Step 3: Stuff the chicken with cheese, making sure to push it as far back into the cavity as possible, without ripping the chicken.

Step 4: Dip your chicken into the egg and then into your breadcrumb mixture. Place into pan.

Do this with each piece of chicken until you have none left. The leftover breadcrumbs can be sprinkled ontop of the chicken. Cook for 25min.

Mushrooms and Asparagus:

All you do for these is saute the desired amount of each until they're the way you like them. I cook mine in olive oil, and at the end add salt and pepper.

Yummy cupcakes.. and I have to make a couple dozen (real ones) on Saturday.. that should be interesting to say the least. Anyway, I made these two practice cupcakes. And apparently my camera makes the picture lighter then what it actually is..

Anyway, the cupcake patterns were ones I found while the icing and cherry were patterns I made up.. Unfortunatly I'll probably never be able to reproduce the pink icing. Though the cherry is simple.

2 sc in each sc. (10)

Decrease (5)

Decrease again and tie off.

: b See simple.. or something. I used a E hook with Embroidery thread, I think.. But you could probably just play with it.
